Scandinavian Farmhouse | Living Room

This couple just celebrated their daughter’s 4th birthday and think it’s time that they took back their living room. They want a space where they can spend time with their family and friends without having to worry about toys taking up half the space.

They want this space to feel sophisticated and cozy; pulling from Scandinavian minimalism and modern farmhouse.

The layout for this project didn’t change due to the limited amount of space and the type of furniture pieces that they requested. The TV was to stay on the wall as this is their primary tv/hangout room. In order to add more seating options, we swapped out the sofa for a sofa with a chaise, used an ottoman as a coffee table, and placed a chair to give the room a bit of separation since it is open into the dining room.
